Application

Suitable for cable insulation or sealing materials.

The EG 286 material is a two-component polyurethane resin. The 2-component PUR casting resin is suitable for the following types of cables: plastic and paper-insulated low-voltage cables, plastic and paper-insulated telecommunications and communication cables, as well as medium voltage cables (for mechanical protection and moisture protection).

Equipped with a practical two-chamber mixing bag, it has good flow properties, excellent hydrolysis resistance, resistance to alkaline metals, stability against UV rays, halogen-free, environmentally friendly, and its soft-elastic characteristics compensate for mechanical stress. It does not crack under electrical load or mechanical stress, exhibits excellent adhesion to all cable materials, and has a low curing temperature.
